These websites comply with the requirements of the harmonised European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (08-2018).
Due to the current rebuilding of the Internet presence, however, we point out the following remaining defects, which are gradually being rectified:

Missing requirements-compliant structure of content

Sometimes meaningful link texts are missing
Lack of recognition of words and sections in other languages
Not always correct syntax

The content listed is not accessible for the following reasons:
The portal service.niedersachsen.de is being fundamentally renewed. The current system is not designed to meet these requirements. With the new development of service.niedersachsen.de, the requirements listed above are gradually being implemented. In order to avoid duplication of work and high costs, we have chosen this path.

Conciliation procedure
In the event of unsatisfactory answers from the above-mentioned contact option, you can at the Conciliation Office, set up by the National Representative for People with Disability in Lower Saxony, an application for the initiation of conciliation proceedings according to the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act (NBGG). The Conciliation Body pursuant to § 9 d NBGG has the task of resolving disputes between disability and public authorities of the state of Lower Saxony on the topic of accessibility in IT. The conciliation procedure is free of charge. There is no need to legal assistance.
